Deciding to install L.E.D. white wire lights into my turn table sculpture was a challenge but I'm excited that I did. This piece is titled "House Hold Music". My goal was to create depth and an ambiance that presented this art in a dramatic way. The shadows that fall between the grooves and around the edges of the turn table truly brings the work to life. I used the parts of 15 different house hold appliances when building this sculpture. I'm showing this particular sculpture this weekend July 19th 2014 at the Mezzanine annual art show hosted by Chillin Productions. 200 artists and fashion designers will be showcasing their visual work as well. I'm excited to be part of one of the very best rated annual art shows in San Francisco this year. If your in the Bay area I'd love to see you there!
I dedicate this TurnTable sculpture to D.J. Cinema out of Long Island (Strong Island) NY,NY. His music, work ethic, and hustle, and knowledge of Hip Hop history and 20 plus years of being a playa in the game is nothing less than inspirational! If you love Hip Hop music then take a moment to check out his mix tapes and mix DVD music videos!!!! They will blow your mind! He creates everything from start to finish with both his audio and video mix tape series.
